fnatic came from the Lower Bracket to beat Frag eXecutors 2-1 and win the 2010 edition of GameGune.
A flying start from fnatic as CT on de_train put the Swedes with an early 8-0 advantage. Frag eXecutors then got their first round, but fnatic's strong defensive play kept the Poles at bay, and put them up 13-2 at half time.
In the second half, Frag eXecutors started better and picked up the first two rounds, after which fnatic managed to respond and take the game to 15-4 in their favour. It seemed like the Swedes had the map in their bag, but they wasted a total of 11 map points as they allowed FX to equalise.
After a first overtime in which the teams could not settle their differences, fnatic got the edge in the second overtime, fnatic won both halves 2-1 to level the tie 1-1.
With both teams now needing just one map to win GameGune, the match moved on to de_nuke. fnatic almost won the pistol round as Terrorirst, but Filip "Neo" Kubski's stab on Rasmus "Gux" Stahl put the Poles in the lead. However, fnatic's purchasing attempt in the third round paid dividends, and put fnatic back into the game. The rest of the first half practically went to fnatic as FX could only get two more rounds, with the scoreboard displaying 11-4 for the Scandinavians.
fnatic got better in the pistol quarrel this time around, but they fell to a well-organised strategy from FX right after. The Polish side then got the hang of it and started picking up several rounds in a row, but when the scoreboard showed 13-13, fnatic got their things together and managed to get the necessary three rounds thanks to some aggressive play.
